What is Meditation?
Meditation is to become familiar with what is.
Mediation is to bring awareness to what is arising within ourselves and outside of ourselves.
Meditation is observing our thoughts, feelings without having to change anything and without trying to judge them or label them as anything.
Meditation is becoming aware of how we breath in and how we breath out.
There are different types of meditation, including loving kindness meditation, chanting meditation, body scan meditation, chakra meditation, progressive relaxation meditation, Vipassana meditation, and more.

Nereyda & Meditation
Nereyda has been meditating since 2017 after reading Patience: The Art of Peaceful Living by Allan Lokos with the desire to learn more about how to be patient.
Meditation led Nereyda through one of the toughest and darkness times in her life.
Through her daily meditation practice, she was able to find her light again and find clarity on how to move through and out of the situation she was in.
Since then, she has had a consistent meditation and prayer practice. It’s changed her life drastically, and now she has a passion to share the practice with others, so they too can feel the effects.
She started guiding meditation to groups and individuals while living in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2019.
It started with her boss volunteering her to guide her peers / other teachers through a meditation during a work team building meeting, with nervousness and excitement, she agreed.
The feedback that she received from the other teachers and the feeling she got as she was guiding others sparked her to start her own book and meditation club, mostly serving the expat community in
Hanoi, Vietnam.
She felt this huge calling to serve others and to guide others to the peace and moments of stillness within themselves, knowing firsthand how transformative it can be.
As the COVID pandemic shook the world,
She came back to California and continued to guide meditation in groups and in one-on-one sessions through Zoom and FaceTime. Through the pandemic, she received a 100-hour Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training through Dharma Moon with David Nichtern.
Eventually, as the world shifted, she continued to guide group meditations in person, including a family-owned local coffee shop in Fullerton, The Night Owl, Tanka Farms in Irvine, metaphysical shops like BOTI Studios in Anaheim and The Healing Circle in Huntington Beach, and in privately owned studios.
Currently, she is guiding others through one-on-one sessions and creating guided meditation videos on her YouTube;
Nereyda Ramirez.
Stay tuned for more group meditations in public.
